Man-op-oly.

Walked down to the theater last night after a night of hanging and drinking with Seriously Bent. We thought we'd give Jeremy and Mike a surprise.

We thought they'd be drinking, talking, hanging out... or maybe watching movies.

We walked into a dark front room and two men huddled in front of the computer playing Monopoly. They had been playing for 1 hour and 27 minutes. We made fun of them, then watched them play for another 40-50 minutes.

Their player names were "Dad" and "kiddo", roles which had accompanying voices and story lines - and were switched between the two of them often.

Dad: Hey kiddo.
Kiddo: Yeah, dad.
Dad: When you gonna visit me in jail?

Out of all the late night theater antics I've walked in on (and been a part of) this was one of the funnier ones. Probably because it was unexpected. Probably because I had a little bit of a buzz on, and was so tired I could have slept on the counter (which I attempted). But I don't know, I've walked in on Mike with a girl, once. . . Googling Spiderman.

Oh, p.s., pick up your copy of the Improper Bostonian. Mike's one of the most eligible bachelors in the city of Boston. What would he do without me?
