On Saturday night I went to the John Mayer concert. I’ve never considered myself a John Mayer fan, really. But, then I realized… I went to a concert when Room for Squares first came out with a friend who had an extra ticket. I have mostly all of his cd’s & I just went to his concert on Saturday. I guess I have to consider myself a fan. Maybes I ams. But I'm not a fan of his hideous facial expressions.

I like his concerts because he’s funny. He basically does little bits of stand-up in between songs and stuff, which I like. I have a small attention span – so after listening to 3-4 songs that I didn’t know, I liked the little bits of funny. That’s all I like in life: little bits of funny. Happy bits of funny!

Although, I must say, he was a bit preachy. Like, “You can do whatever you put your mind to!” and “We all can be bigger than we are now…” He told this story about how he used to walk down Newbury & Boylston and stare up at the Pru and think “Someday I’ll make it.” That’s not what I do when I walk by the Pru, I think “That’s a tall building.” or “I know I’m in Boston.” But, if I look up at it and think positive thoughts, will they come true like they did for the Mayer? But, I guess it all tied in with my soul cleaning. Motivational pop concerts are slightly helpful.

I feel like dancing… and this day is dragging by.

I don't know why, but this post made me giggle. Maybe because I have a semi man crush on John Mayer. Maybe. Or maybe because I can picture you saying to yourself, "that's a tall building."

Okay, TA TA FO NOW. And what the hell is that picture linked to my name?
