You don't have to be afraid of what you are....


I love these two. A lot.

When I first started formulating STEW and the City with Jenny Gibbs, she said she didn't want it to be a musical. And I said, "What about karaoke?" and then throughout the whole process, I just wanted there to be a scene with Trevor singing karaoke. In fact, it was one of the first scenes I wrote.

The part of "Ian" was both based on Trevor and written for Trevor (basically). I mean, the character's name is Ian - which is Trevor's middle name. So, luckily, he showed up to the audition and got the part.

I'm glad the scene made it in the final draft!

Glad it was "Hero" by Mariah Carey. Because Trev nailed it.

I'm also glad Cavan was a part of it! He's a great replacement best friend.
