I'll be home for Christmas...

Mom: Honey, do you want to try this casserole for breakfast?
Me: What does it have in it?
Mom: Eggs, cheese, bacon and peppers.
Me: Eggs? I don't like eggs!
Mom: But you'll like this! It's good! It's like quiche!
Me: I don't like quiche! Since when have I liked quiche?
Mom: Oh, come on, try it! It's good for you!
Me: IT HAS CHEESE AND BACON IN IT! HOW IS IT GOOD FOR ME?
Mom: It has PEPPERS!

Needless to say, I didn't try it. It looked like a pan filled with omelet, and that's my biggest fear. (Besides rats and mice and centipedes and closing my eyes in the shower.)

I think she was mad, because eventually she brought me out a piece of Wonder bread with a spoonful of ground sausage thrown on top. Thanks Mom. THAT'S what I wanted!

Also, my mother is one of the HEALTHIEST people I know. She barely eats, and when she does, it's like salads or chick peas or whole cloves of garlic. And she has an entire cabinet dedicated to vitamins - which she takes every single day (all 353 of them.) So, the fact that she considered a casserole with egg, bacon and cheese in it "healthy" is making me question her sanity.

I don't know if you can tell, but I'm kind of a spoiled brat.
