i'm sorry to say I don't like it.

I wanted to like it. I really did. I’ve heard so many good things. Some of the guys were cute (which, honestly, is a deal breaker.) It was all guys and a girl (and that is my life!) But… I just don’t. I don’t like it. I don’t like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I don’t give a lot of shows a chance, because I’m stubborn. But, I got the third season for Christmas from my boss – and thought, “I should like this show! All of my friends do, it’s got to be funny!” But, while I think some parts are funny, as a whole – I’m not a fan.

Why? Well, for one they’re always fighting. I understand that’s the whole deal – but if you saw an improv show where every single scene involved fighting – you would never go to that show again. And if you performed in that show – you’d never hear the end of it from your director. I know, because I’ve been there! (Although, "The Yelling Family" might be my favorite scene I've ever been in.)

Also, the hijinks they get into make me uncomfortable. Ha. And I stretch the limit in sketches… I’ve wrote a sketch where a girl made out with her brother and another where a girl lied to her husband about having cancer to soften the blow that she cheated on him and was pregnant. And somehow, things they do still make me squirm.

I guess I just don’t find any of the characters likeable enough to keep watching. But I can’t not watch something once I’ve started – so I’m half-way through the third season hoping that I’m just missing something.

Although, I will say that the guys who created it (the guys who play Charlie, Dennis and Mac) are inspiring. If they can get a show on the air, then so can I. Well, so can Gudernatch and I can ride his coat tails to the top!

But, that’s just my opinion. I understand WHY people like it, and again - there are definitely some funny parts. This is also coming from the girl who can hold serious conversations about iCarly and cries at What Not To Wear. So, take my opinion with a grain of salt... and a shot of tequila.

P.s. It doesn't mean I don't think it's funny when Cullen dresses up as the green man for a show. Oh, Cullen. He's so tall and green.
