Mix Tape Monday: 90's R&B

Since I blogged about my feet earlier... I thought I'd post something more fun. I mean, not that talking about my feet isn't fun. I could do it all day and night. Feet! Feet! Feet! Ankles! Feet!

But, since it's a rainy day, I'm going to make a mix tape. I have NO business making a mix tape because all of my music is terrible. Absolutely terrible. Every mix I make has a least one 98 Degrees song on there. Sometimes there's two, and it's the same song. It just book ends the mix.

But regardless, I love 90's R&B. It's what I grew up with, and every time I hear songs it brings me right back to the 90's where everything was awkward, uncomfortable and not the least bit sexy. At least in my teenage life. I'm pretty sure it was a good, sexy time for LL Cool J.

you're about to see it...
here it is.

1. "Love Will Be Right Here" - SWV.Less popular than the more popular "Weak". But, it samples "Human Nature" and I like it more.

2. "No Diggity" - Blackstreet
or "Don't Leave Me"

3. "Ready or Not" - Fugees
or "Ooh La La La"

4. "Don't Let Go" - En Vogue "If I could wear your clothes, I'd pretend I was you... and lose control."

5. "Only You" - 112 f/ Notorious B.I.G and Puff Daddy
or "Anywhere"... totes sexy.

6. "Water Runs Dry" - Boyz II Men
"Motown Philly" is a cold second. But, they're known for their ballads.

7. "Gangsta's Paradise" - Coolio

8. "Whatta Man" - Salt -n- Peppa
or "None of Your Business"... because it's awesome.

9. "Creep" - TLC
or, "Red Light Special"... the only song my  mother even banned me from listening to.

10. "Hey Lover" - LL Cool J f/ 112

So that was it.
My top ten list of my seventeen favorite 90's R&B songs.
And this didn't even cover all of them.

Stay tuned for next week's mix tape:
my top 10 list of my 30 favorite Michael Jackson songs.

p.s. like my awesome design skills?
