Little Princess.

The other night I watched "A Little Princess". Yeah, that kid's movie from the early 90's. Yeah, I streamed it on Netflix. I also watched "The Secret Garden". So what? They were my old favorites!  I always wished I lived in a different time period where I got to wear frilly dresses and corsets and have maids tend to me. I was a very dramatic child, no wonder I got into acting.

I mean, I would spend hours playing Barbies {and every barbie had a specific name and story.} I played with American Girl dolls {even though I never owned one. I had Magic Attic Club dolls which, in my opinion, were better.} Paper dolls, Cabbage Patch Kids and those dolls with the hearts on their cheeks that appeared when you kissed them {see above, that's Maggie and Matthew.} I was very imaginative.

I'm kind of nostalgic for my childhood lately. A family friend passed away this past weekend and it's very sad. I hadn't seen him since I was younger, but we're still close with the whole family. In the past few years, I've been to too many funerals. And I've just been wishing I could go back to being a kid where everyone was alive and OK and I didn't worry about what was going to happen next. {I'm not kidding. I've literally been having anxiety attacks over this.}

Well, hey morbid Patty. Let's make fun of me as a child:
