I have a Moleskin {again, even saying it makes me feel cool} but it takes a lot of effort to reach into my bag whenever I get an idea. Plus there's all that time wasted looking for a pen and by the time I manage to find the right colored Sharpie and open up a clean page in my Moleskin... well, the idea's gone. Or it's not funny anymore.
Because of this, I have ideas written EVERYWHERE. There are post-its covering my desk, my work to-do lists have random sketch ideas written on them, the notebook next to my bed has illegible scribbles from when I can't fall asleep/get ideas in my dreams/wake up in a daze and have to write something down before I actually wake up and forget. I have emails sent to myself, memos written in my phone, etc. etc. etc... you get the idea.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is... I'm full of good ideas! But... nothing ever gets written. Because when I have the time to sit down and write... I can never find them. Don't be lazy like me. Stick to your one Moleskin!
And that is my writing tip. It's National Sketch Writing Month. So... write some sketches!
