The Muppets

We all know I'm in love with the Muppets. They make me giddy! When I saw Beaker and Bunsen on the cover of Wired (which gets delivered to my work), I yelled. They talk a lot about the technology behind the film and how they wanted to keep it consistent with the original movies and not include a lot of effects. I really, really loved the following quotes. I can't wait to see the movie.

"When I came onto this job, I said that I'd only consider doing it if we could stay with the simple idea that Jim Henson had in 1954 of having a camera, a puppet and a monitor. When you see Kermit onscreen, you want to be able to see this beautiful bright green felt." - James Bobin, director of The Muppets

"I have nothing against CGI, I think it's a new toy that people are having a really fun time playing with. But a kid can never meet Shrek. You can touch Kermit. He'll talk to you." - Jason Segel, writer and star
