Regardless, it was a LOT of fun. It was just a couple of couples and Casey and a baby. That's the title of the new movie I'm writing. We had lots of traditional Easter options like ham, chicken and lamb. I had lamb for the first time... it was pretty okay. Yeah. Pretty okay. I also was tasked with bringing rolls and salad, but I didn't want to bring just any rolls and salad. I went to Trader Joe's and got their awesome rosemary rolls and I made garlic butter! (All I did was mix regular softened butter with some garlic, but still, IT MADE A DIFFERENCE!) I also made my own balsamic vinaigrette which is so easy and much more delicious than anything store bought because garlic. God, I love garlic.
After that dinner though is where the real fun(?) happened. I got drunk off red wine, Matt had to get his credit card at a bowling alley in Santa Monica... so we went atomic bowling at 9pm on Sunday night and I drank too much. I don't remember going home. I apparently made nachos (one should not use an oven when that intoxicated.) And Monday was terrible because of it.
We also shot more stuff for our web show this week. It was stupid... ly funny.
I got my hair cut in Venice last weekend too and that was awesome. I felt really sad because I miss my hair dresser and I'm going home in two weeks and felt like I should have waited. But I didn't. I went and tried someone new and it worked out perfectly. My hair is much blonder now and I have bangs again and everything's great.
Beau and I drank two bottles of white wine and watched Talk to Me last night and that was awesome because if you know anything about me, you know that I love anything that takes place in the 60's and includes Martin Luther King's assassination and how people were affected. I love it. I want to watch it again when I get home. Or maybe find another 1960's movie to watch. Also I'm going to listen to my Sam Cooke records and dance with myself.
BUT TOMORROW. Tomorrow we're getting a cat!! We're going to do a trial run with it for two weeks, but if it works out, then we're going to adopt it! Her name is yet to be determined (we're not agreeing on anything.) But she's six months and grey and white all over. There will be pictures. Oh, there will be pictures.
Have a good weekend! In closing, here I am in my Easter bonnet.
